How to Download Instagram Reels on iPhone

If you need to save a Reel that you own or have permission to download, you can use ReelSave directly from a modern iPhone browser.

Step 1: Copy the Reel link

Open the Reel in Instagram, use its share options, and copy the direct link. If you need help finding the link, read How to Copy an Instagram Reel Link.

Step 2: Open ReelSave

In Safari or another modern browser, open ReelSave's Instagram Reels Downloader.

Step 3: Paste and download

Paste the Reel URL into the input box and choose Download. If ReelSave can access the public media source, the browser will start receiving the available file.

Where the file goes

Your iPhone browser decides where downloaded files appear. In Safari, downloaded files can typically be accessed through the browser's downloads interface and the Files app, depending on your device settings.

Common limitation

If the Reel is private, login-gated, deleted, region-restricted, or temporarily unavailable, the downloader may fail. ReelSave does not bypass those restrictions.
