How to Copy an Instagram Reel Link

A direct Reel URL is the starting point for ReelSave. The exact labels in Instagram can vary by device or app version, but the basic workflow is the same.

On the Instagram app

1. Open the Reel you want to reference.
2. Open the Reel's share options.
3. Choose the option to copy the link.
4. Return to Instagram Reels Downloader and paste the copied URL.

On a browser

Open the Reel's individual page and copy the URL from the browser address bar. A direct Reel URL is more reliable than copied captions, usernames, or search-result text.

Before downloading

Make sure the Reel is publicly accessible and that you own it or have permission to save it. Private or login-gated content is not bypassed by ReelSave.

If the copied link does not work
