How to Copy an Instagram Reel Link
A direct Reel URL is the starting point for ReelSave. Instagram labels can vary by device and app version, but the goal is always to copy the URL that opens the individual Reel.
Copy a Reel link in the Instagram app
- Open the Reel you want to reference.
- Open the Reel’s Share options.
- Choose Copy link when that option is available.
- Return to the Instagram Reels Downloader and paste the copied URL.
Copy a Reel link in a web browser
Open the Reel’s individual page on Instagram and copy the URL from the address bar. A direct Reel URL is more useful than copied captions, usernames, or search-result text.
How to check whether the link is public
Open the copied URL in a private or incognito browser window where you are not signed in to Instagram. If the Reel does not load there, it may require authentication and ReelSave may not be able to access it.
